Creating an OzShop
  • Apply to become a Verified Seller.
  • Once your application has been approved login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to My Shops.
  • Click "Create New Shop" in the submenu.
  • Complete all of the fields. Please note that the name of your store must be unique. Use the "Check if available" function to make sure that your shop name is not already taken.
  • Upload a shop banner (optional). For instructions on uploading new images click here.
  • Click "Add this store".
  • You store has now been created. It will not be visible on the main site until it has been approved by Administration, until then you will be able to add categories and items to your shop.
Editing an OzShop
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to My Shops.
  • Find the shop you wish to edit from the list and click the edit button
    ( Edit Button ).
  • Edit the fields as required.
  • Click "Update this store".
Deleting an OzShop

Please note that deleting a shop will delete all of the items and categories in the shop.

  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to My Shops.
  • Find the shop you wish to delete from the list and click the delete button ( Delete Button ).
  • Click "Ok" to confirm the action.
Adding a Category
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Categories.
  • Click "Add new category" in the submenu.
  • Select the store you wish to add the category to from the dropdown menu.
  • Complete the other two fields.
  • Click "Add this category".
Editing a Category
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Categories.
  • Find the category you wish to edit from the list and click the edit button ( Edit Button ).
  • Edit the fields as required.
  • Click "Update this category".
Deleting a Category
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Categories.
  • Find the category you wish to delete from the list and click the delete button ( Delete Button ).
  • Click "Ok" to confirm the action.
Adding an Item
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to My Items.
  • Click "Add new item" in the submenu.
  • Select the store you wish to add an item to and click "Set Shop".
  • Complete the fields.
  • Select an image from your existing images or upload a new one. Click here for instructions on how to upload new images.
  • Click "Add this item".
Editing an Item
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to My Items.
  • Find the item you wish to edit from the list and click the edit button
    ( Edit Button ).
  • Edit the fields as required. If you wish to upload a new image you can refer to our instruction on home to upload new images.
  • Click "Update this item".
Deleting an Item
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to My Items.
  • Find the item you wish to delete from the list and click the delete button ( Delete Button ).
  • Click "Ok" to confirm the action.
Uploading an image
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Images.
  • Click "Browse" and locate the image you wish to upload.
  • Click "Ok".
  • Click "Upload".
  • A thumbnail of your image will appear after your already uploaded images.
Deleting an image
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Images.
  • Click the red cross ( Delete Button) on the image you wish to delete.
  • Click "Ok" to confirm the action.
Issuing Invoices

Issuing an invoice will send the buyer an invoice which will detail their purchase and how to pay for their item.

  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Reports.
  • Select "Orders" from the submenu.
  • The orders with status "New" have yet to be issued invoices.
  • Click "View Order" of a new order.
  • Click "Create invoice for this order".
  • Enter any additional instructions to the buyer in the "Additional Information" field.
  • Click "Send Invoice".
  • Click "Ok" to confirm this action.
  • The order’s status will now be set to "Invoice Issued" and the invoice will be emailed to the buyer.
Completing an Order

Once payment has been received for an item you can set the order status to "Completed"

  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Reports.
  • Select "Orders" from the submenu.
  • Find the order you have received payment for from the list and click "Completed".
  • The order status will be set to "Completed".
Sending a Message
Replying to a Message
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Messages.
  • Messages with a green dot ( Unread Message ) next to them have yet to be read. Messages with a red dot ( Read Message ) have already been read.
  • Select the message you wish to reply to from the list. Click the Subject of the message or the Open Message icon ( Open Message ).
  • Type your response in the Message field.
  • Click "Send reply".
  • A green arrow ( Replied to message ) will appear next to the message to indicate that you have responded to it.
Deleting a Message
  • Login to the OzShops User Control Panel.
  • Go to Messages.
  • Find the message you wish to delete from the list and click the delete button ( Delete Message ).
  • Click "Ok" to confirm the action.
